Ama Ultimate Home Health Services exists to deliver whole-person care that treats the body and the mind together — empowering independence and dignity for children, adults, and older adults across Houston. Every plan is built on empathy, compassion, and respect.
Ama Ultimate was founded by Dr. Amaette Okon, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Dr. Okon is dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) — a rare combination that lets her care for both the physical and mental health of the people she serves.
Her training spans Brandman University and the University of Texas at Tyler, where she built the clinical foundation that shapes Ama Ultimate today. After two decades at the bedside and in the community, she founded the company to deliver something many families struggle to find: truly whole-person care that integrates physical and mental health under one trusted team.
That philosophy runs through everything we do. We lead with empathy, compassion, and respect, and we measure success by one thing — whether the people in our care feel more independent, more dignified, and more genuinely supported.
